Performance Max

Google's goal-based campaign that runs across all of Google's ad inventory.

Performance Max is a Google Ads campaign type that uses one campaign to show ads across Search, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps. You give it a goal, a budget, assets such as headlines, images and videos, and optional audience signals; Google's automation decides where and to whom to show them.

Performance Max uses asset groups instead of ad groups, and it reports less detail per placement than a Search campaign does.
