MCP (Model Context Protocol)
An open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT use outside tools.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data. An MCP server offers a set of tools, and an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT can call them during a conversation, after you connect and approve it.
